Two I-95 interchanges are an easy 12 minute drive. The Village is located just 12 miles southwest of the City of Fredericksburg, 18 miles northeast of Lake Anna, and adjacent to the Spotsylvania County seat.  A new state-of-the-art hospital – Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (HCA) – is located just six miles to the east. Spotsylvania Courthouse Village offers a variety of lifestyle and employment options within reach.

Vakos Companies was founded in 1976 and has since been participating in the rapid growth of the Fredericksburg region and the Commonwealth of Virginia, beginning with the regionally acclaimed renovation of the Princess Anne Hotel in 1977.  We have become one of the region’s foremost leaders in commercial land and hotel development, emphasizing the importance of community in each of our developments.  Although we have developed and constructed numerous developments in Stafford and Fredericksburg, as well as have holdings as far north as Landover, Maryland and as far south as Chesapeake, our home and focus is Spotsylvania County, where we currently have three large-scale commercial and mixed-use land developments underway, including Southpoint I and II, Spotsylvania Courthouse Village, and Thornburg Towne Centre.
